“ The first thing I thought of when I entered this restaurant was: man, this could be a scene out of a Quentin Tarantino film. And I mean that in the best way possible. Musty 70s (?) decor? Check. Loveable but slightly inexplicable fellow customers? Check. Either way their food is good and even better value for money, especially coming from Tokyo where an order of guac runs you the GDP of a minor island economy (for the record, el carino’s was ¥500 and AMAZING). Most of all the staff were friendly and very hardworking. I wish this restaurant continued success and looking forward to visit them again. Bonus points for being open on a Sunday night and until very late (was told last order is close to 1am ??) ”

“ This time, we visited with our family. The ginger pork here seems to be beef. As others have written, it certainly feels like they slap the hamburger together after you order. The cut of meat for the lunch steak combo is grass-fed loin. You can also add salt and pepper to your table to change the flavor. ???? There are only two staff members, so it was popular when we visited, and we had to wait quite a while, but it's delicious. First-timers might be intimidated by the restaurant's exterior, but the interior is spacious, the staff are very friendly, there's parking, and it felt like we'd come back with the family. “ While visiting Fujisawa, we stopped off at El Carino for lunch, hoping to find some delicious tacos. We ordered two combos: a taco, steak, and hamburger combo, and a hamburger and scallop steak combo. The combos came with rice, salad, and soup. As others have said, it takes a while for the food to come, so only go if you're comfortable waiting. On this day, we waited about an hour after ordering. First, the tacos. They were delicious. The crispy vegetables, meaty meat, and spicy, juicy salsa were delicious! The steak, hamburger, and scallop steak were also delicious. The charred texture and the soy sauce-based sauce really added a nice flavor. The accompanying corn and potatoes, as well as the bean salad that came with the set, were also delicious. What I like about this restaurant is that it's not overly pretentious. The interior decor is a little old, the walls and ceiling are a little dirty, and the floor is a little sticky, but that's how authentic Mexico is. Maybe even more so. The price is reasonable considering you can eat your fill. The parking lot is 70 meters away. It may be a little difficult to find if it's your first time here, but when you enter the parking lot, look for the area with the sign on the left. ”

When I went inside, I was impressed by the attention to detail in the interior and collections. I had steak, chorizo, and tacos. Everything was delicious, so I'd like to visit again.
